Practical Astrology Training Program
Kelly teaches an 18month Practical Astrology Program. Working through 6 units, students move from beginner's to advanced level astrology through classes, assignments and supervised practice. Classes run at various times of the year in Orangeville ON, Sydney NSW and Toronto ON.
You can enter the program at any level (depending on your prior knowledge or training). The course is designed to give students a practical grounding in the theory, art, science and application of Astrology. It draws on traditional techniques for modern life so along the way students also learn about themselves.
A six month extension is offered for students, who, after completing the course, wish to take either the Federation of Australian Astrologers or Canadian Association of Astrology Education certifying exams.
Each Level includes 16 hours of classes, and are delivered in a combination of weekly classes or weekend intensive format. Workshops run for 8 hours.

Your second 6 months of training introduces dynamic techniques like predictions and chart comparison skills, as well as providing ongoing practice of chart interpretation techniques.

Practical Astrology 6 - Horary, Electional, Parts, Fixed Stars
Your third six months of training rounds out your astrological education with extra topics that enhance your understanding of astrology, as well as provide exposure to a variety of techniques to deepen your understanding of forecasting work and chart synthesis.

Practical Astrology 1 and 3 begins in both Toronto and Orangeville ON in September 2011.
Next dates for Sydney, NSW are slated for 2012 - TBC.
Cost
Each Practical Astrology Level (1 - 6) is $260. Workshops are $90 each. The course is run on a pay as you go system, so as you sign up for each level, that's when you pay.

Kelly teaches astrology in a one on one situation to a limited number of students.
Private tuition offers you personalised astrology training that moves at your own pace. It’s ideally suited to students who are self directed. Outside of your one-on-one lessons you’ll be provided reading and written assignments to develop your knowledge.
Private tuition is paid for in 90minute blocks (for $100), which can be taken as either 1 x 90 min session or 2 x 45min sessions.

Saturday August 13, Traditional Predictive Techniques
This workshop explores traditional predictive techniques like fidaria, profections, time lords and fixed stars in depth. You’ll explore how to apply these cycles to your own chart, as well as see them come alive in real life case studies. You’ll learn when to apply traditional predictive techniques, finding out how to interpret the different cycles within your fidaria and what to do with your time lord planet. Along the way you’ll come to understand how astrological predictive techniques developed from the simple to the comprehensive, as you discover the cultural origins of these fascinating tools. The use of these techniques in relation to specialised areas like health (fertility), career and relationships et al is also discussed.
Sunday August 14, Arabic Parts – Natally, Predictively and In Love
You may have heard of the Part of Fortune, but do you know what or where your Part of Love, Victory or Vocation is? In this inspiring workshop you’ll learn about the primary seven parts, one for each of the original planets. Not only will you discover the easy ways in which to calculate and interpret these parts in your own chart, you’ll also learn how to insert Arabic Parts into key predictive charts like your solar return. We’ll discuss how to use the Arabic Parts in relationship astrology, helping you better understand the secrets underlying your experiences around attraction and desire.

Eclipses
Exploring the mechanics and meaning of eclipses, plus how to include them in chart interpretation and predictive work.
In this lecture, I discuss how an eclipse happens, (the astronomoy) and what it means (the astrology).
I discuss and define solar and lunar eclipses, as well as north and south node eclipses.
I also explore the saros series, including touching on the new saros series starting July 1 (in Cancer) as well as the upcoming Lunar eclipse (in Sagittarius) and the recent solar eclipse (in Gemini).
Diagrams and charts are included in the powerpoint (PPT) that accompanies the lecture to help illustrate the concepts.
