New Year's Eve

I'm winding up for the year to the tune of helicopters whirring and birds chirping. I write at my home office, on the second floor of my Neutral Bay townhouse, a stone's throw from Sydney Harbour. The New Year's Eve fireworks on Sydney Harbour are spectacular. If you've never seen them, check out this photo by my fellow astrologer (and an Aussie!) Kelli Fox http://theastrologer.com/images/charts/SydneyFireworkscopy.jpg

On my daily walk this morning the usually calm, almost empty Cremorne Point foreshore was already sporting blankets, tarpaulins and tents. Yes it's a key vantage point for viewing the fireworks and enthusiastic revellers were getting in early.

I've just one more short love horoscope to write before pens down for another year. 2007 has been huge - personally and professionally. I've ticked a couple of major career goals off and now have three horoscope columns appearing in print. My astrologer training program at the Earth Institute has surprised everyone with how successful it's been and I had a blissful four week trip to Italy with TC in September. I've wrapped up one chapter of my career and said a fond farewell to my massage clients as I anticipate new directions in 2008. It's been busy but the winds of change are ready to blow again and having taken the two weeks or so off over this holiday period for the first time ever, I feel renewed and optimistic about how 2008 will pan out. I'm also inspired after recently reading "Eat, Pray, Love", a novel by Elizabeth Gilbert about a "woman's search for everything". It's helped me clarify how best to use my time.

Happy Celebrations - remember to make your New Year wishes with the New Moon next week!

Lots of Love

Kelly
